I only took one picture of the three, because one was already gone this morning. There were two loaves in the freezer and this is one of them. It now sits in the fridge, defrosting.
Cutting into the first one, I probably used too much butter because the texture didn’t quite come out as planned. Also, I like things a tad sweeter so I would use half a cup of sugar for good measure next time.
This very night, I warmed up some heavy cream then melted a bar of Nestle bittersweet bar and about 1/3 cup of Hershey’s chocolate morsels, then added cocoa powder, crushed walnuts and raw sugar which was sitting in a plastic baggie from the last time I made chocolate truffles. The whole thing is sitting in the fridge solidifying and waiting to be made into truffles tomorrow, so expect them in the post next week.
Looks good to me
