Sunday afternoon, I finally got it untangled.
So, begins this project.
I still have to make six more pom-poms then attach everything together to make a garland. It isn’t turning out the way I had originally planned but nothing ever does.
I also made a banana cake Thursday night.
I smushed three ripe bananas and added three jars of Gerber Fruit Medley, 3 eggs, 2 teaspoons of vanilla, 1 stick of melted butter
The dry ingredients are 2 cups of AP flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 cup granulated sugar/ 1/2 cup of brown sugar
(I added more sugar than I would have preferred, so adjust to your own sweet tooth)
Bake at 350 for about 40 minutes. (I baked mine for 42 minutes and the toothpick test came out clean)
The icing is powdered sugar added to a block and a half of cream cheese (that I had partially melted in the microwave, because I am impatient) and added a little orange juice.
On top, I put walnuts then heavy-handedly drizzled caramel from a pouch.
