week sixty-eight
First off. This cake.
For some reason, I only seem to be successful making baked goods if it includes chocolate.
This was really easy to make.
Grease a round nine inch cake pan.
In this order: 2 ripe bananas, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 2 tablespoons wheat germ, 5 tablespoons Bisquick, huge sprinkle of salt, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 Dixie cup (the 3 ounce size) of chocolate chips and 1 Dixie cup (again the 3 ounce size) of chopped walnuts.
Put in pan and sprinkle a handful of raw sugar.
350 degree Fahrenheit for twenty five minutes.
It doesn’t look like much but this is part one of the striped blanket. It is more obvious the top rows are curved when it is opened up. I need to do the same thing for part two, the bottom, then have to deal with the middle. I’ve temporarily run out of yarn for continuing it, so taking a break from this project until more yarn has been purchased.
I’m finally getting around to turning this into a stuffed animal. I forgot how long ago my niece drew this for Dylan, although I’m almost sure it was before her brother was born.
The paper templates. (Couldn’t find cardboard)
I couldn’t find the fabric I wanted to use this for, but found a cut up tank top I never wore. I’m making two so they are paired. I’m not sure why I feel the need to make two but I like the idea of bunny twins.
This is actually a flat circle but have no idea what I will use it for. I am making a bunch of circles so will probably incorporate all of them into one thing.
Also, the project using the embroidery thread.
You may remember this as the dress I made last year but it’s just sitting in my closet. I am going to redo it so it’s a coat or jacket, so I would actually wear it.
Oh, and I put this in a frame. Remember the blue and green rectangle/square I crocheted but didn’t do anything with it? I was hoping to find a 5 by 7 frame but had a 4 by 6 not being used so on New Year’s eve was playing around with it. The butterfly in the blue bit and that’s supposed to be a wiener dog in the green area.
